Daniel at DJ Special Event, is a passionate, fun, and dedicated DJ. He dj’d our wedding on July 4, 2015 at The Mountain Mermaid. From the first time I spoke to Daniel on the phone, I felt comfortable, relaxed, and in good hands. He is very patient, knowledgeable, and professional. He has top notch equipment and knows what’s best for you and your venue. We had an initial meeting and discussed our needs and how he could accommodate them. Then, when it was closer to our date, he took the time to make a special trip to our venue, so he’d be fully prepared on our special day. Additionally, Daniel met with us to meticulously go over the details of the entire day. Step by step. My husband and I had very special requests for music and Daniel took all of them and performed them on our day. The price was in our budget too. He is very reasonable and you certainly get more than you pay for!!! We couldn’t have been happier choosing Daniel. The true testament to him has come from our guests. They loved dancing the night away and had a fantastic time thanks to our DJ, Daniel!!

I am so grateful that we chose Daniel of DJ Special Event to keep our guests entertained during our wedding at Hartley Botanica. He did an incredible job! He seamlessly provided music that all of our guests (of varying ages) enjoyed. He kept our guests dancing and the party going all the way to the end of the night. He also did a great job of providing more subtle music for before the ceremony, during the cocktail hour, and while dinner was being served. All of his music choices were spot on! When I first hired Daniel he helped save a very important Christmas Party. The DJ that we had hired cancelled at the last minute(30 minutes before our event). I called Daniel and he was able to bring all his equipment to the Pacific Design Center within 30 minutes. By the 45th minute he was spinning the tunes. At the end of the night our client thanked me for our service and pointed out that the DJ(Daniel Smith) impressed a lot of his guests at the party.
